Who we are

maple.cr is run by Maple Connection, a managed IT practice for hotels, villas and lodges in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We are the party responsible for the data described below.

What we collect

What you type into our quick form or the intake assistant: your name, email, phone, property or business name, location, and a description of what you need. If you text us, we keep the messages. Our web server also logs basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure. Your browser stores a small draft code so an unfinished intake can be resumed on your device.

How we use it

To answer you, understand the job, quote it, and follow up by text, email or phone. We do not send automated messages between 21:00 and 07:00 Costa Rica time. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

The AI intake assistant

The chat on this site is an AI assistant. What you write to it is processed by a third-party AI language-model service so it can reply and organize your request, and our team reads the result. Please do not type passwords, card numbers or national ID numbers into it. It does not give binding quotes or promises.

Who else sees it

Only the people and services we need to run the site and answer you: our own staff, and providers for hosting, email and text delivery, and AI processing. We share data with others only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep intake records while we are working with you or following up on your request. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under Costa Rica Law 8968 on the protection of personal data, you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and withdraw your consent to being contacted. Email us and we will act on it.
